2025: Linear Appraisal 02-05 VVEG 86 (in milk 16 months--not being actively milked)

Pepper freshened last year and has been on an extended lactation, staying in milk by feeding young friends and her 2024 daughter who freshened this year. I took her off test last year but realized she was still in milk when appraisal time came around. She was appraised this year and her very small udder did her no favors in terms of scoring However, she still scored well.

Pepper is a Dill's Rod Sam Crow daughter and has that dairy strength that he passes along so nicely. On her dam side, Dew Drop had a stylish dairy look, looking to mature in her dam's footsteps, Redstone IMAX Rosetta. We lost Dew Drop in a complication during her second freshening. We're so happy Pepper made it. She was an adorable house goat for a short time. Pepper has a nice wide rump, good teat size on a soft, well attached udder and she excels in general appearance.
